survivors have always been there for us

For many witnesses, notably the survivors, the Hillsborough inquests have been or will be a tough and traumatic process played out in the public eye but it's a process that couldn't proceed without their crucial contributions.

We have previously written about the value of the touching tributes family members presented at the start of the hearings in Warrington. These poignant testimonies were packed with emotion and difficult for family members to give, but individuals who were at Hillsborough being called to share their painful memories and, potentially, be cross examined by several barristers takes things to another level.

However, those involved in the inquests are keen to stress that help and support is available for those asked to attend the hearings at the modern, purpose built building at Bridgewater Place in the Birchwood Business Park.

Inquests press officer Sarah Jane Leydon says: "A consultant clinical psychologist or one of his team is available here every day to provide immediate support or to identify other sources away from the venue. At the start of the inquests we let the interested persons including the families know, via "Hgh Jintropin Avis" their legal teams, how to access this service, and we also gave out information about other counselling and listening services available from the NHS and charities such as the Samaritans. We also send witnesses an information leaflet, before they come to give evidence, telling them about the support available here and elsewhere."

Meanwhile, a Liverpool city council spokesman says: "Following Injectable Steroids For Poison Ivy the release of the independent panel's report, the families were provided "Oxandrolone Powder India" with a dedicated telephone number which is currently still available around the clock, with social care support if needed. The contact centre for Liverpool adult social care is Careline, and the telephone number is 0151 233 3800. If ongoing social work support is required a referral will go to the appropriate social work team."

There are also friendly faces from Liverpool in Warrington, representing the families and survivors, and a quiet room to spend time in.

Steve Kelly, of the Hillsborough Justice Campaign, Sustanon 250 4 Ml A Week who lost his brother, Mike, 38, in the disaster, believes it is impossible to overstate how important a role the survivors called to give evidence are playing in these long awaited new hearings.

He says: "People who have never been inside a court room in their lives are coming into such a tumultuous event in legal history. It must be very, very daunting because they may feel they are under so much pressure. We, in our groups, have our own support network but I fear for some people. I have already been quite concerned after seeing people giving evidence I have been nervous for them.

"But I have to stress there is support available and it's imperative people ask for it, no matter how strong a person they are. These people have been waiting 25 years to give their evidence and the shock of being involved in the proceedings can be extraordinary. There is a lot of media attention and some people might find it very intimidating to walk in past the TV cameras pointing at them Australia Kamagra Manufacturers and the Press photographers snapping away even I have got a bit of a shake on walking past them!"

And he adds: "I have felt pressure just sitting in the court listening to other people giving evidence, so God knows what it must be like for those individuals who are being called. For the time they are giving evidence they are alone, but they need not be alone afterwards, and, if they feel they need it, they must look for that support after attending the inquests.

"They can come and look for me, or others we are all friendly and approachable and there is a room set aside for us where we can have a cup of tea and a quiet chat. Kamagra 100 Or, they can come to the HJC shop by Anfield on match days after they've given their evidence. We will always be there for them and there is no need for them to be alone or feel they are alone.

"I have never underestimated the worth of the survivors and I am so pleased so many of them will be finding the strength to bare their souls in the coming months. They have waited so long and the hearings couldn't take place without them. I really do want to take this opportunity to thank them for their contributions."

The passing of so much time is also a major factor to be borne in mind, with Steve saying: "I am sure a lot of survivors will have tried to "Oxandrolone Powder India" have made Hillsborough go away in some respects over the years, but now they will be reliving possibly the worst moments of their lives and doing it publicly. I really do take my hat off to them."

Steve was among the family members who presented a tribute at the start of the hearings, and says: "I found it difficult, but now I think it was quite easy in comparison. I just read out a statement about my brother, as opposed to being asked to trawl all this stuff up after 25 years. But there are a lot of friendly faces here from the Hillsborough Justice Campaign and Hillsborough Family Support Group and people shouldn't hesitate to seek us out and say 'Hello'.

"It's also positive we're in a modern building, rather than an old, imposing and intimidating crown court building not that I've ever been in one of those! The surroundings are quite nice, there's a bit of greenery and the facilities are good though I find the coffee quite expensive!

"And the most important thing Masteron Side Effects For Women' is there are people here for the survivors just as they have always been there for us."
